AEW’s Brody King Files For New Trademarks Including Ring Name

Brody King filed for two new trademarks, including his ring name, with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on August 16th.

He broke into the business in 2015, working for various promotions, including MLW. In addition to his work in AEW, he also works for NJPW. ROH first signed King in 2020 before jumping in January 2022 as part of the faction on an episode of Dynamite.

King is currently one-third of the AEW Trios Champions alongside Malakai Black & Buddy Matthews.

The other trademark is “#1 In Violence.” Both trademarks are listed for entertainment services such as wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.

It was filed under his real name, Nathan Blauvelt. The full description reads as follows:

“Mark For: BRODY KING trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”
