AEW’s Jack Perry files for more trademarks amidst hiatus

Jack Perry has locked down more trademarks.

The name

The AEW wrestler had attorney Michael Dockins file trademarks with the USPTO for the purposes of entertainment and merchandise services on December 11 for “Jurassic Express” and “A Boy and His Dinosaur.”

He previously filed for his old Jungle Boy ring name earlier this month. Here is the description:

“Mark For: Jurassic Express™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.”

His absence

As a babyface, he originally went by the Jungle Boy moniker before using his real name as a heel. He had been paired with Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt as part of the Jurassic Express faction.

His last match was at All In as he wrestled in an FTW Title match with HOOK, where he memorably did a spot on the windshield of a limo before he stated to the camera that it was real glass and cry me a river. This was a reference to a previously reported incident between Perry and Punk.

The physical altercation at All In between Perry and CM Punk months ago resulted in Perry being suspended and Punk released. Their issues all started weeks before as Punk told Perry that he shouldn’t use real glass for an angle.

Perry is reportedly no longer suspended. However, there’s been no word yet on when he will return.
