AEW’s plans for early 2024 pay-per-view event schedule

AEW returns to pay-per-view with its World End show on Saturday at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York, headlined by AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF vs. Samoa Joe.

Upcoming shows

They’ve already announced the Revolution pay-per-view event will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2023, at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC, featuring Sting’s retirement match.

In recent months, AEW has expanded its PPV schedule and reportedly plans to do more shows in 2024. This has led fans to wonder whether AEW will hold a pay-per-view event in January or February.

Plans

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW doesn’t plan on holding another PPV event before Revolution.

Meltzer wrote, “In a surprise, since they added two three new PPV shows from the end of August through the end of December, but the plan is to go from Worlds End to Revolution on 3/3.”

It’s unclear whether there will be a PPV show in April, although they hold Double or Nothing every year in May. Here is the updated list of AEW events announced thus far:
