AEW’s Ruby Soho undergoes surgery

Ruby Soho has undergone surgery for the broken nose she suffered last month while competing at AEW All Out.

She shared a photo after undergoing the knife on social media on Tuesday morning and captioned it with: “Finally! After a month since breaking my nose at All Out. The countdown begins until I can breathe again, can’t you see my excitement?!”

Soho teamed with Ortiz to challenge Tay Conti and Sammy Guevara for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Titles. The finish saw Conti pin Soho after hitting a knee strike to Soho’s face. Soho was helped to the backstage area by a referee and was holding her nose as blood came out.

The AEW star mentioned late last month that she would need surgery for the injury as she had a broken nose in two places and a “mess of a septum.”

Soho also had to pull out of a 1PW show in the United Kingdom on October 1 because of the injury. Now, she will look forward to working the 1PW event on February 18, 2023.

We wish her a speedy recovery.
