AEW’s Swerve Strickland receives role in “Stiletto” film

Swerve Strickland is branching off into Hollywood after picking up momentum as of late in AEW.

Momentum

Strickland scored a win over Dustin Rhodes in a singles match at the Worlds End pay-per-view event last month after his original match with Keith Lee was nixed. The fans have started to rally behind him coming out of the Continental Classic tournament that Eddie Kingston eventually won.

Strickland was revealed to be part of the cast for the new horror film “Stiletto” by Deadline.com. Hearse Productions is producing it.

The movie

Gigi Gustin will star and executive produce it. She will be joined by Charlotte McKinney, Colleen Camp, Pancho Moler, Tyler Abron, Stephen Blackehart, Meghan Carrasquillo, Russel Todd, and Mia Challis to make up the rest of the cast.

Samuel Gonzalez Jr. will direct it after writing the movie. The film will begin to shoot later this month. Here is the synopsis of the film:

“A year after the grisly murder of a local exotic dancer, the victim’s sister, Lyric, searches for the serial killer responsible as he stalks and kills his favorite dancers on the night of the anniversary.”
