Ahmed Johnson on why Booker T didn’t want him in Harlem Heat:

“He didn’t like it. He didn’t know if I was going to come in and take some of his shine or what the deal was, but he didn’t like it at all.”

On what Hulk Hogan told him backstage:

“We had a Battle Royal and I went to him and started hitting him, just hitting him and hitting him. Then when we got done, behind the curtains, he’s like, ‘Hey, brother. I thought you’re gonna kill me with those punches. I’ve seen you out here and I see you throwing punches like you’re killing the guy.’ He said, ‘Those were the softest punches I ever took’, so he gave me his stamp of approval on that.”
