Amari Miller On Why She Was Released By WWE, Her Relationship With The Company

In an exclusive for WrestlingNews.com, Steve Fall interviewed former WWE NXT star Amari Miller (Camron Bra’Nae). She talked about her exit from WWE, Liv Morgan, Sasha Banks, and more. You can watch the entire interview below.

Amari Miller on leaving WWE:

“It was more mostly just creative, like, they didn’t have anything for me creatively. My contract was ending anyway, so I just felt like it was best for both worlds. It mostly came from their side, but it was not like, ‘Oh, please’, like, I’m begging, it was more like, ‘You know what? Thank you for the opportunity. I really appreciate it’, because there’s nothing else I could have done. I worked my butt off. I was there every day. There’s no bad blood on either side. So it was very understandable from a business perspective of where they were coming from. I did have injuries throughout my path in WWE, so I can get why it’s like, ‘You know, she might be a liability’, but to end it all, there was just nothing creatively for me. So it was just time for us to just go our separate ways. It doesn’t mean I’m not gonna go back. Coach was saying that he will always put his name behind me if needed. So there’s a very good, tight relationship between me and WWE right now.”

Amari Miller on if she trained Liv Morgan around the time of the Royal Rumble this year:

“I worked with her. I wouldn’t say I trained her. Liv was in [injury] rehab with me and we just became good friends through rehab. I remember I got medically cleared a little bit before her and we got in the ring together and we were just kind of rolling around doing whatever. She likes to go hard and so do I. She made the statement of, we were about to lock up and I was like, ‘I’m so blown up.’ She’s like, ‘There’s a difference between good and great.’ I was like, ‘You know what? Let’s go.’ We did a lot of training, a lot of thinking about new moves, a lot of ideas and things like that. So we went hard for like, I would say, about a month and a half every day in the ring. Even if we had 30 minutes, it was just straight cardio, or we would just work around in the ring and think of ideas and things like that. So even when we didn’t have a ring, we would go on the side and think of stuff and move around. She’s a beast. She is a different type of beast. I remember she was like, ‘I don’t think my cardio is that great.’ I said, ‘I’m out of breath and I train four days a week here. You’re doing fantastic.'”
