An Injury Delayed AEW Dynasty Match Announcement

AEW is slated to hold the Dynasty pay-per-view event this Sunday from the Chaifetz Arena in St Louis, MO. However, the announcement of one match had to be delayed.

Top matches for the show include AEW World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe vs. Swerve Strickland, Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm vs. Thunder Rosa, AEW TBS Champion Juila Hart vs. Willow Nightingale, a Vacant AEW Tag Team Title Tournament Finals Ladder Match with The Young Bucks vs. FTR, AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada vs. PAC, and more.

Also set include the new additions made on Wednesday’s episode Dynamite of AEW Trios Champions Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & Billy Gunn vs. ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions Jay White, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn with both titles on the line on the pre-show and FTW Champion Hook vs. Chris Jericho.

While speaking on the AEW Dynasty media call, AEW President Tony Khan said the winner of the trios title match would be the undisputed trios champions, indicating the titles are being unified.

Khan also said that there was an injury this week that prevented the bout from being announced earlier. However, he didn’t say who was injured or what the injury was.
