AEW has made several behind-the-scenes hires in recent weeks including Will Washington from Fightful and former Impact Wrestling/WWE creative writer Jimmy Jacobs. The promotion has also hired another former Impact Wrestling star.
As previously reported, Bryan Danielson has been involved in helping out with creative as he will bounce ideas off Tony Khan and vice versa. Bryan was credited for helping come up with the recent ‘Championship Friday’ edition of Rampage.
Pwinsider reports that Dax Harwood also has creative influence in AEW as the company now has around 5 hours of TV time to produce each week with the addition of Collision starting this Saturday alongside Dynamite and Rampage.
The report noted, “Bryan Danielson and Dax Harwood have been involved with creative pitches to Tony Khan of late.”
It should be noted that top AEW stars have a say in their creative, but in the cases of Danielson and Harwood, they’ve been pitching ideas for creative that doesn’t involve themselves.
