During tonight’s TNA Impact Wrestling broadcast, a video package aired with a voice talking about change happening gradually over time similar to what TNA has been doing over the years. At the end of the video, Mustafa Ali appeared and said that he approved the message.
Ali was one of several WWE talent released last September. He made his first post-WWE appearance at Association les Professionnels du Catch’s (APC) 20th Anniversary show and he has since worked for Game Change Wrestling and has been booked to work for Progress, DEFY, and he appeared at Battle in the Valley in a pre-taped video to challenge Hiromu Takahashi for a match at Windy City Riot.
During his time in WWE, Ali was considered to be a good worker who was never given much of a chance, outside of a brief stint as the leader of the Retribution faction, to move up the card. For those of you who missed tonight’s TNA broadcast, click below to see Ali’s promo.
