WWE has already confirmed that this year’s SummerSlam premium live event will be held at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 3. This is the home of the NFL team. However, another team attempted to get it in their city.
On March 12th, WWE announced the date and location by having WWE United States Champion and Cleveland native Logan Paul share the news on his podcast. No matches have been announced for the event.
According to Hamilton County Administrator Jeff Alutto, the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals made an effort to have the event be hosted at Paycor Stadium, the home of the NFL team. However, WWE never called them back.
