This year’s WWE Royal Rumble is in the books as the company starts the road to WrestleMania 39.
Cody Rhodes won the 30-Man Royal Rumble match while Rhea Ripley won the women’s Rumble bout, both earning championship matches at Mania this April.
WrestleVotes and Pwinsider.com have reported on the backstage reaction to the show.
Per WrestleVotes, WWE is happy with both Rumble bouts, Gunther’s performance, and the wild spot with Logan Paul and Ricochet, where they hit a springboard clothesline in mid-air.
Asked for some thoughts after last night… Source said they are happy w/ how both Rumble matches turned out. Gunther’s performance in particular along w/ Logan Paul / Ricochet spot “better than even imagined.” Bloodline angle stole the show, as expected. Exactly why it was last.
