It’s been a wild 2024 for Becky Lynch after having a strong performance in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, and working a top match at WrestleMania XL.
The second night of the event this past Sunday featured Lynch losing to Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. It was a surprising defeat to many fans, considering Rhea has been champion for over a year since winning it from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.
As previously reported, there was speculation coming out of Mania that Seth Rollins would be taking time off from WWE following his World Heavyweight Title loss to Drew McIntyre.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Rollins will be away from WWE, but he won’t be gone for long.
Meltzer added that Lynch is also believed to be taking time off. It remains to be seen how long she will be gone as well.
