WWE is looking to cash in on the interest among fans in the feud between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn at Saturday’s house show.
Reigns will be making a rare appearance at a WWE live event on March 4 at The Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto. Originally, WWE advertised Reigns teaming with Solo Sikoa to face Zayn and Kevin Owens in the headliner
However, the arena announced today that Zayn vs. Reigns 2 will happen at this show. This will mark Reigns’ first house show match since September 24, 2022, when he beat AJ Styles in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
“The Tribal Chief” defeated Zayn to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber PLE earlier this month. Post-match, Kevin Owens returned to television to make the save for Zayn.
Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania Goes Hollywood.
JUST ANNOUNCED! Canada’s own @SamiZayn takes on @WWERomanReigns in a rematch for the Undisputed @WWE Universal Championship!
