WWE is teasing a big storyline twist in two weeks on Friday Night SmackDown.
Prior to tonight’s main event, Paul Heyman told Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens that Jimmy and Jey Uso will win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in two weeks when they get their rematch on SmackDown. As seen in the video below, Heyman looked in The Usos direction as he said that Roman Reigns was losing patience. In other words, we could see Reigns turn on them if they don’t win the titles back. Earlier in the show, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens continued to try to plant the seed that Reigns is using them and that Solo Sikoa is ready to take them out.
Meanwhile, in the main event, Sikoa beat Matt Riddle thanks to a distraction from The Usos. After the match, Sikoa continued the attack and hit the Uranage slam on the announcer’s table before overturning the table on Riddle.
The Tag Team Title match is in two weeks but next week’s show will feature Gunther defending the Intercontinental Title against Xavier Woods, Chelsea Gren and Sonya Deville challenging Raquel Rodrigez and Liv Morgan for the Women’s Tag Team Titles and the team of Braun Strowman and Ricochet will face The Viking Raiders.
