It does not look like the issues between The Elite and CM Punk are anywhere near close to being resolved.
This afternoon, Brandon Cutler tweeted “Someone gets it” in response to a Deadspin article with the headline, “CM Punk is gaslighting AEW.” Cutler has since deleted the tweet and made his account private.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about plans for CM Punk and Chris Jericho to meet to see if they can put everything behind them but thus far, there’s been no progress with Kenny Omega/Young Bucks and Punk.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said, “Brandon Cutler did something today which probably didn’t help. The one thing I’ll say is that most people in the company have kept completely quiet on this knowing that anything they say will probably be held against them in some ways. Not everybody wants to be quiet, I know that. But that’s another story.”
