Bray Wyatt’s Illness Was Career and Life-Threatening

As was reported earlier via Fightful Select, there is good news on Bray Wyatt’s return to WWE.

Wyatt hasn’t been seen in the ring on TV since Royal Rumble where he wrestled LA Knight and he hasn’t done anything at all in the ring since February. There’s been a lot of speculation about his future after it was reported that he had to pull out of WrestleMania because of an illness. He was scheduled for a program with Bobby Lashley but the illness forced WWE to scrap those plans.

Fightful reported today that he is getting closer to returning and that some ideas were mentioned for September but none of that means anything until he is cleared again to take bumps.

In an update, Fightful Select noted that the illness that Wyatt has been dealing with was both “career and life threatening.” Whatever it is that he’s been dealing with, we wish him a full recovery on his way back to the ring.

Prior to his disappearance from TV, there were plans in place for a Wyatt stable with his brother Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) and others.
