As many of you saw on Sunday night at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door, Bryan Danielson was injured during his match with Kazuchika Okada. During the post-show media scrum, Danielson said that he suffered a broken arm. It was expected that he would be out 6-8 weeks which mean that he could potentially be on the card for All In London at Wembley Stadium. Unfortunately, the news is not good and he may not be on the show.
Brie Bella said on Instagram Stories that Danielson’s injury is worse than they thought. She did not say what that return timeline is for him but the x-ray below appears to show that he suffered a clean break off the bone which likely means that he would be out for several months.
Danielson said that he wrestled for 10 more minutes after the break happened, and that caused audibles to be called during the match. For example, the “YES” chant was done during the match because Danielson needed to do something to get the fans back on their feet. Best wishes to Danielson on a speedy and complete recovery from this injury.
Bryan Danielson's broken arm is worse than expected. Initially, the hope was that he would be back between 6-8 weeks. If he's out longer then he won't be able to wrestle in London at All In. pic.twitter.com/zMDRrxPidz
