Carlito is back in WWE.
The former champion returned tonight at WWE Fastlane as the mystery partner for Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar after the other members of the LWO were attacked during Friday Night SmackDown. Mysterio said he called someone but he didn’t get an answer back but was confident that this person would show up. Carlito showed up for the match after it was officially started.
This is Carlito’s first appearance since Backlash in Puerto Rico where he impressed management so much with the fan reaction that he was eventually offered a contract. He signed several months ago but there were no creative plans in place until the angle this weekend with the LWO. Carlito is a full time member of the SmackDown roster.
