Bad Bunny got involved in the singles match between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio at WWE WrestleMania 39 on Saturday night.
Following outside interference from Judgment Day, Legado Del Fantasma came out to make the save. Bad Bunny, who was on commentary for the bout, took a chain away from Dominik, allowing Rey to hit the 619 and a frog splash for the win.
Bad Bunny is slated to host the Backlash PLE on May 6th in Puerto Rico and will be making another appearance on WWE programming.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported today that Bad Bunny is currently set for tonight’s Raw.
The report noted that he is supposed to have a front-row seat for a segment on the show. It’s unclear for sure what he will be doing, but “there was a possible Dominik Mysterio angle with Bad Bunny pitched for the future.”
Prior to WrestleMania 39, The Miz spoke with WrestlingNews.co’s Steve Fall, where he said he would like to face Bad Bunny at Backlash:
“Me versus Bad Bunny, one-on-one. It sounds like a dream match to me in Puerto Rico.”
