CM Punk is working his first WWE match since 2014 tonight

After giving its talent and staff off for Christmas, WWE is back on the road starting tonight with its Holiday Tour with house shows that run through this coming Monday night.

Punk’s WWE journey

CM Punk will be working his first WWE match since the Royal Rumble in 2014, when he walked out of the company before being fired on his wedding day on this tour. Punk hasn’t wrestled a match since AEW All In when he beat Samoa Joe in the opening bout on the card.

Punk vs. Dominik Mysterio will take place at WWE’s Holiday Tour house show at Madison Square Garden in New York City tonight before they have a rematch at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on Saturday, December 30.
