Although there have been reports that CM Punk is not returning to WWE, some fans are holding out hope.
It was originally reported that the two sides were in talks with Punk, intending to make a return, but a deal wasn’t reached. It was later noted by WWE talent and a higher-up that no talks were ongoing as Vince McMahon decided not to bring back the former WWE Champion.
Punk was on 670 The Score in Chicago, where he was asked whether he will be at Survivor Series next month in Chicago, which has sold over 16,000 tickets and is speculated to be the potential moment that he could return.
Punk stated, “They’re asking if I’m going to be there. I think it’s sold out. I think tickets are hard to get.”
Regarding a possible WWE return, he said he doesn’t want to burst anybody’s bubble and he’s currently home taking care of his dog, who recently tore his ACL.
