If it wasn’t already pretty obvious that CM Punk would be back on TV for AEW Collision, it was made crystal clear on Sunday night on Instagram.
Punk posted an image of the AEW Collision graphic on his Instagram account. But this one had photoshopped images of his buddy Danhausen and he tagged other AEW stars like Miro, Powerhouse Hobbs, Malakai Black, Julia Hart, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler. All of those names are expected to be regulars on the show.
Tickets have sold well for the first Collision but well below the pace they sold at for the first time AEW went to the United Center for Punk’s debut with the company. Now with Punk promoting the show, this may lead to an uptick in ticket sales, which seems to be the intended goal.
AEW Collision will debut on Saturday, June 17 on TNT and will air live on most weeks in that time slot.
