Continuance request approved in Teddy Hart’s drug case

Teddy Hart was back in court on January 11th after a July 15th arrest on charges of possession of MDMA (ecstasy) and possession of a controlled substance without prescription.

The charges

The charges are a third-degree felony in Florida. He was also cited for failing to stop at a steady red light, something that led to him being pulled out in the first place. This comes after Hart has had past run-ins with police.

He had a court hearing last Thursday in Titusville, Florida, in regard to the arrest, where it was listed as a mandatory appearance for “Early Resolution.”

The latest

Pwinsider reports his defense requested and received a continuance at his hearing. The court agreed and moved the hearing to February 8. The court noted it would be the final time the defense is allowed to request a continuance.

He was initially believed to be the next member of the legendary Hart family to become a big wrestling star. That didn’t happen due to personal issues.
