Contracts of WWE Tag Team Will Expire in a Couple of Months

WWE has a lot of talent under contract across the main roster and NXT. There are several promising wrestlers in NXT, but some may not make it to the main roster.

The Dyad (Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid) are looking for the door despite being part of the Schism group.

The tag team had asked to be let out of their deals with WWE a few months ago, but the company denied the request and they planned to stick around until their deals are up. Despite the request, WWE has continued to use them on television in a storyline with the Creed Brothers.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted The Dyad only has a few months left on their NXT deals.

Bryan Alvarez: “The Dyad has like three weeks left or something like that. Or maybe a month.”

Meltzer: “October.”

Alvarez: “Is it October?”

Meltzer: “Okay. I have the date in the Observer, in this issue.”

Alvarez: “So they got two months.”

Meltzer: “I think for whatever reason, I think it’s October 14th, but it’s October for sure. Yeah.”
