Shane McMahon’s son Declan McMahon has not been around WWE like Shane and Stephanie were when growing up. However, that doesn’t mean he’s ruling out a potential future inside the wrestling ring.
Decland did make an appearance at Fastlane as he was seen in the crowd with his Indiana teammates earlier this month holding the custom Indiana University championship belt given to his defensive teammates when forcing a turnover. McMahon is a freshman running back at Indiana University.
While speaking with WU Online’s Michael Weaver Jr., Declan was about this possibility, noting that he won’t dismiss it but is currently focused on wrestling.
“When you’ve come up in this business and seen it…I’m never ruling it out. I would love to get in the ring, maybe a couple of times. You have to see if the opportunity presents itself. It’s all about the story. But, we’ll see.”
He added that he thinks the fans would get behind him if he decided to get into wrestling, and he thinks he would be pretty good at it, so he’s never ruling it out and will play WWE by ear.
