NBA Legend Dennis Rodman is slated to make his AEW debut on Saturday during Collision from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
The promotion announced the news today and touted he would be appearing in his return to the arena that he played at so many times in his legendary career as a member of the Chicago Bulls.
It’s unclear exactly what he will be doing on the show, but this is a big get for the promotion. They’ve previously brought in Shaq for a mixed tag team match, where he teamed with Jade Cargill to beat Red Velvet and Cody Rhodes a few years ago.
Rodman previously made appearances for WCW from 1997-1999, where he was aligned with the NWO and teamed up for a few matches with Hulk Hogan, including at the July 1997 Bash at the Beach event, in a loss to Lex Luger and The Giant.
The following month, Rodman dressed up as Sting at Road Wild to help Hogan retain the World Title. Hogan and Roadman worked a match against Karl Malone and DDP the next month at Bash at the Beach. He also lost to Randy Savage at Road Wild in 1999.
Ricky Starks to challenge Ricky Steamboat to a strap match at All Out, Dax Harwood vs. Jay White, World Trios Champions Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & Billy Gunn vs. Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker, and Saraya, Toni Storm & Ruby Soho vs. Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander will also take place on the show.
What will happen when the unpredictable @NBA Hall Of Famer #theWorm @dennisrodman returns to the @UnitedCenter, TOMORROW when Saturday Night #AEWCollision is LIVE from Chicago?!?
