Impact Wrestling is slated to hold this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony next month, and they will be inducting two worthy members – Don West & Mike Tenay.
The voices of TNA/Impact Wrestling that many fans grew up hearing will be honored when they’re inducted into the honorary class at Bound for Glory from the Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois, on Saturday, October 21.
West was a well-known sports collectibles seller who had the reputation of being a great salesman before going to TNA. He worked with Tenay on the commentary team for the promotion from 2002-2009 before they brought in Taz to replace West, who sadly passed away last December following a long-fought battle with cancer.
Before TNA, Tenay had worked for WCW on the announce team.
Impact created its Hall of Fame in 2012 with 13 total inductees, including the following names: Sting, Kurt Angle, Team 3D (Bully Ray & D-Von), Jeff Jarrett, Earl Hebner, Gail Kim, Abyss, Ken Shamrock, Awesome Kong, Raven, and Mike Tenay & Don West.
