Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 39, Drew McIntyre spoke with the media at a charity event.
McIntyre talked about possibly having a full circle moment at WrestleMania if he wins the Intercontinental Title in the 3-Way match with Sheamus with Gunther. He was also asked about Vince McMahon being backstage.
“Gunther has done a good job of restoring prestige to that title. It’s been a while since the IC title has been in such a prominent position. Just look at WrestleMania [and] the level of match…I would love to take it to the next level. I have plenty of plans for it and that includes defending it in Puerto Rico…”
McIntyre was asked where he would love to go next. He mentioned France as one of those places. Click below to watch the video.
