Former WWE star Duke “The Dumpster” Droese made was a surprise entrant tonight in MLW’s Battle Riot match.
Droese, who hasn’t wrestled full-time in over 20 years, went out to the ring with his trashcan and he got in some offense before being taken out by Alex Kane. As seen in the clips below, Kane pulled on Droese’s prosthetic leg, in a callback to when Kevin Nash pulled Maurice Vachon’s prosthetic leg off at In Your House: Good Friends, Better Enemies in 1996.
The final four in the match were Alex Kane, Shigehiro Irie, John Morrison, and Davey Boy Smith Jr. Kane won the match to get the World Title shot.
Some of the other surprises in the Battle Riot included Snitsky and Kim Chee.
