Elektra Lopez believed she was moving to the WWE main roster with Legado Del Fantasma

The future of Elektra Lopez is up in the air after plans for her main roster call up was nixed. The rest of Legado Del Fantasma members – Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Raul Mendoza – were called up as planned.

She was originally slated to be at WWE SmackDown this week, but plans changed 24 hours before the show.

On Friday’s SmackDown, Legado Del Fantasma made their main roster debut, with the returning Zelina Vega serving as the fourth member. In the promo segment, Vega proclaimed that she is back, while Escobar proclaimed that SmackDown is theirs because no one is safe.

While speaking on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that many in WWE believed Lopez would be called up to the main roster, including herself, but that didn’t happen.

“She thought she was. Everyone was under the impression she was [going to be called up,] and then they changed their minds, so she wasn’t.”
