Elias is the latest WWE star to have been released today as part of ongoing company budget cuts. As noted earlier, there are several people expected to be let go and there had been rumblings of this after the WWE-Endeavor merger was announced back in April.
Last week there were widespread cuts at the company offices. The names being let go today appear to be wrestlers who have not been used much, if at all, on TV this year. Click here for the full list of WWE releases.
