Real1, aka former WWE star Enzo Amore, has been released by MLW.
There are no details available right now but The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer first reported the news and he has been removed from the MLW roster page.
The news is surprising because he was scheduled to face MLW Champion Alex Hammerstone next Saturday at Battle Riot V in Philadelphia, PA and he was scheduled for the War Chamber TV taping on Thursday.
Amore posted a photo of himself at WrestleCon last night (see below) but he hasn’t commented on his exit from MLW. The former WWE star’s latest MLW TV appearance was in a two-minute loss to Microman. There’s another match that has yet to air where he faces Mance Warner, Microman, and Matthew Justice in a four-way dumpster match.
