Former WWE star JTG (JAY THA GAWD) was recently interviewed by Tim Hann Rivera of Subway Mania.
JTG was asked to give a moment in WWE that was special to him. He mentioned the moment he had at a live event at Madison Square Garden.
He also talked about The GangStars in OVW and then teaming with Sha and winning the Tag Team Titles. When asked what’s in store for him he said, “Just keep blazing that trail. I have a lot of people watching me. I was told that I’m a mentor, I’m an idol. That people are watching me…Motivating the younger generation. We’ll see. Maybe I’ll pick up my phone when they call but somebody’s gonna call.”
The 38-year-old has continued to wrestle for various independent companies since his release from WWE in 2015. Judging from the photos posted on his social media accounts, he appears to be in better shape these days than when he was working for WWE.
On his Twitter, he revealed that he attended the Elimination Chamber PLE in Montreal last weekend.
