Former AEW Star Set to Debut on WWE TV Soon

WWE is about to introduce fans to another former AEW star on television after signing Jade Cargill to a multi-year deal.

The NXT brand will feature Brian Pillman Jr., as the company recently teased his arrival.

Pillman finished up with AEW after his contract with the promotion expired, and his profile was removed from the AEW roster on the company website. He spent three years with the promotion, mostly paired with Griff Garrison, where they worked on Dark and Dark: Elevation.

Pillman started with WWE NXT late last month after taking part in a tryout in June in Orlando, FL, where he has since been training at the Performance Center.

As seen below, a mysterious figure is seen watching an old TV set showing footage of old clips, including a Cincinnati Bengals game and WCW from the early 90s. Pillman is a big fan of the Bengals and is billed from Cincinnati, and his late father, Brian Pillman, used to wrestle for WCW during this time.

It’s unclear when he will make his promotional debut.
