Former WWE star Bray Wyatt received a ‘serious offer’ to return to the ring

There’s an interesting bit of news about Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) getting an offer from a wrestling promotion but this has nothing to do with WWE.

Fightful Select reports that Wyatt received a “serious” offer from an upstart wrestling promotion. At this point, there’s no word on if Wyatt has an interest or if he has accepted the offer. The source heavily implied that it’s actor/ex-WWE writer Freddie Prinze, Jr’s company that is set to launch within the next year.

Prinze recently stated on his podcast that he had plans for Killer Kross (now Karrion Kross) to be the face of his promotion but Kross got the offer to return to WWE.

The Fightful report also noted that there was some interest in Wyatt from AEW. Dave Meltzer reported several months back that Wyatt’s price tag was very high and the belief is that he is not hurting for money because he was one of the highest-paid wrestlers when he was in WWE. Wyatt reportedly had no interest in joining Impact Wrestling, who was said to have made a very strong play for him.

In regards to a WWE return, it appears that the door for him is not shut. Triple H recently said the following during his interview with Ariel Helwani: “One of the most – I mean this is the best way possible – crazy creative people I’ve ever been around. His mind just never stops thinking of creative but it’s like being in a whirlwind of stuff so without the harness, and without somebody to point the tornado it’s just all over the place. He’s a victim of his own mind and his creative and it’s just everywhere but I love working with him.” For what it’s worth, Wyatt tweeted this from his Twitter account on Saturday night:
