Former WWE star/UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will be allowed to wrestle at AAA’s event in Tempe, Arizona, on Saturday, December 3rd.
A Santa Clara, California judge approved of this as well as the removal of the GPS monitor attached to him per the conditions of his bail. However, he must take and pay for a law enforcement officer with him on the trip.
Cain will be allowed to travel by plane. His house confinement restriction, another bail condition, will be waived temporarily from December 1st through the 4th.
Velasquez and his legal team requested permission for him to wrestle at the show on Monday because the event is being held at his alma mater of, Arizona State University. Velasquez is currently out on $1 million bail.
Cain allegedly followed Harry Goularte, who was charged with 1 felony count of lewd and lascivious act for allegedly molesting Velasquez’s son after Goularte was let out of jail under supervised release despite being charged.
There are 10 charges against him for allegedly being involved in a shooting in late February. The charges against him include 1st degree attempted murder, multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon, and shooting an occupied motor vehicle, among others. If found convicted, he faces decades in prison.
