A very interesting name has indicated that she’s in London, which is where AEW is today for ALL IN, their biggest show of all time.
Mercedes Mone, aka former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks, posted photos of herself around the city without a caption. Mone has been laying low for months after suffering an ankle injury during a match with Willow Nightingale for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Mone’s name had been rumored for Forbidden Door and she’s been open to wrestling for any companies that offer the right deal but the ankle injury has kept her away from the wrestling ring. As seen in the photos below, she appears to be healthy and while we don’t know if she has reached a deal with AEW, it’s certainly possible that she could show up on today’s pay-per-view.
