Fans can expect to see WWE bring back a former star who has been away from the company for only a year officially while she has been off television for a few years in the near future.
KAIRI, also known as Kairi Sane, is returning to WWE, something that has been in the works for a few months.
She signed with WWE in 2017, where she found success in NXT and on the main roster. She is a former NXT Women’s Champion and former Women’s Tag Team Champion with Asuka. She departed from WWE officially in 2022 after returning to Japan in 2020.
WrestleVotes reported today that Sane is back on WWE’s internal talent roster and her return is imminent. Pwinsider later confirmed the news. The Twitter account wrote the following:
“After what feels like months of speculation, I’m told Kairi Sane has reappeared on the internal talent roster. Her return to the company is imminent.”
