Original: Rikishi is sporting a new look as he enjoys retirement from being an active in-ring performer after a long and successful career.
He broke into the business in 1985 and was part of the Samoan Swat Team from 1986 through 1992. He then went to work for the WWE, where he had various gimmicks. From 1992-19995, he was part of The Headshrinkers before doing The Sultan gimmick.
In 1999, he had a run as the Intercontinental Champion and was part of Too Cool with Grand Master Sexy and Scotty 2 Hotty. In 2000, he had the biggest push of his career when turning heel and running over Steve Austin with a car to write him off television as Austin needed neck surgery.
He remained with WWE until 2004. He has made various appearances for WWE since then. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015. He’s the father of The Usos.
