Fans could be in store for a surprise when tuning into this Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series or next week’s WWE television shows with the return of two former stars. WWE is looking to end the year on a high note and inject some new blood into its main roster talent pool.

Authors of Pain could be coming back to television soon. After a strong run in NXT and constant stop-and-start pushes on the main roster, AOP (Akam and Rezar)was released in 2020.
As previously reported, AOP (Akam and Rezar) have been believed to be under contract with WWE since 2022. There had been a lot of talk over mid-August about AOP and their former manager, Paul Ellering, returning to make some appearances, mostly for the NXT brand.

WrestleVotes reported the Survivor Series official event program features two notable teams – Gallus from NXT and Akam & Rezar. It appears that both teams will be headed to the main roster shortly.
AOP hasn’t wrestled since their WWE departure, although they attempted to launch their WES promotion with shows in Europe last year but never got the project off the ground.
