The guessing game regarding Gable Steveson’s career continues as he was back in the ring on Friday night.
He recently withdrew from this month’s Senior World Championships only to be removed from the internal NXT roster at one point and then worked two NXT house shows this month. He had been looking to make a return to amateur wrestling and potentially compete in the 2024 Olympics.
As previously reported, his overall future depends on Vince McMahon and Steveson’s future is being kept quiet.
WWE held an NXT live event on Friday night from Fort Pierce, FL, where Steveson was back in action as he worked the main event, teaming with the Creed Brothers to beat Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp & Myles Borne.
This was his fourth wrestling match. He will likely work tonight’s house show as well.
