Gail Kim, who currently works as a producer and Head of Talent Relations for Impact Wrestling, came out of retirement to work a match at the Impact 1000 TV taping on Saturday.
Kim had not wrestled since the Rebellion 2019 pay-per-view against Tessa Blanchard. She teamed with Trinity, Jordynne Grace, Awesome Kong, & a surprise partner against Angelina Love, Deonna Purrazzo, Savannah Evans, Gisele Shaw, & a surprise partner. Check out the Impact 1000 spoilers here.
Kim took a nasty bump in the match as she was yanked off the apron and landed hard on the ringside floor, thanks to some interference.
There was some concern about her once footage of the spot went around on social media, but Kim noted on Twitter that she did get rattled, but she’s doing okay.
