Grizzled Young Veterans, aka The Dyad (Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid), became free agents on Saturday after their WWE contracts expired and now they’re slated to hit the independent wrestling scene.
After asking for their release from the company and that request being declined, they were part of the Schism group on NXT television. That storyline has since ended with the faction breaking up.
James Drake and Zack Gibson are officially free agents with their first post-WWE match lined up, as they will be appearing at the October 27th OTT Ninth-Year Anniversary show.
At this show, the former NXT UK Tag Team Champions will be working a match against Man Like Dereiss and Omari. They’re also slated to work the following day at the OTT Ninth-Year Anniversary event, where they will face off against The Draw.
They last worked a match on the August 29th episode of NXT, where they put over the Creed Brothers in a steel cage bout.
