Fans won’t have to wait much longer to see the return of Gunther.
Gunther has not been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania XL, where he dropped the Intercontinental Title to Sami Zayn in a classic match. It ended his long and dominant reign as champion.
This coming Monday’s episode of Raw looks to be a newsworthy show on paper as the company has confirmed that a new Women’s World Champion will be crowned following Rhea Ripley’s injury, World Tag Team Champions The Miz & R-Truth defend against DIY’s Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa, and The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh vs. Andrade & Ricochet.
WrestleVotes reports that the show will also feature Gunther’s return. It’s unclear what he will be doing on the show or what WWE plans for him are going forward.
Following his IC title loss to Sami Zayn at WM, Gunther is scheduled to return to TV this Monday on RAW.
