A streak was broken and a new champion was crowned tonight on AEW Dynamite.
Hook had the match won but the referee was knocked out and couldn’t count the pin. Perry won the title by pinning Hook after hitting him with the FTW Title. This is Perry’s first singles title win and Hook’s first-ever loss.
For his entrance, Perry was shown on the big screen in a desert burying the previous version of himself and then he came out to his new theme, Beethoven’s 5th Symphony. Click here for complete AEW Dynamite results.
