Aliyah has not been seen on WWE TV since the September 12 edition of Raw. At the time, she held the Women’s Tag Team Championships with Raquel Rodriguez before they dropped the titles to Dakota Kai and IYO SKY (Damage CTRL) on the show.
Aliyah later revealed that she was injured with an elevated first rib and an AC Sprain.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Aliyah is now cleared to return to in-ring action.
Shotzi took her spot in the depth chart for the SmackDown Women’s roster and went babyface which led to her challenging and coming up short when she wrestled SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.
Aliyah’s former tag team partner has been aligned with Shotzi in recent weeks by aiding her from attacks at the hands of Rousey and Shayna Baszler.
