Injuries are going to happen no matter who you are, the style of wrestling you do, or where you work. It’s the wrestling business, which means anything can happen at any given time.
Injured star
Ricochet has been on the sidelines as of late. Last month, on an episode of Raw, there was a match that had an awkward finish between Ricochet, The Miz, Bronson Reed, and Ivar, which saw The Miz go over when he pinned Reed.
Originally, there was supposed to be a double pin with Ricochet also getting pinned by Ivar, but Ricochet got his shoulder up, and Miz was crowned the winner. Ricochet was believed to be rocked early in the match, which caused him to not go forward with what was planned. Ricochet was put into concussion protocol as a result.
The return
WWE held house shows on Saturday and Sunday from Bangor, ME, and Portland, ME, where Ricochet returned to in-ring action. He went over Bronson Reed in a singles match and could be back on television as soon as tonight’s Raw.
