At a time when Drew McIntyre turned heel on Monday night during WWE Raw ahead of Survivor Series, Randy Orton is inching his way back to making his return.
The belief is Orton will be teaming with Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Cody Rhodes at the Survivor Series PLE next Saturday in Chicago to take McIntyre, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh in the Men’s WarGames Match.
Following Monday’s Raw, when McIntyre aligned himself with Judgment by turning on Jey and shaking hands with Rhea Ripley, Rhodes teased Orton’s return. The future WWE Hall of Famer has been sidelined since last May and underwent fusion back surgery late last year.
WrestleFeatures pointed out that next week’s Raw on November 20th is being held in the same arena where he had his last match in 2022. It’s also 18 months to the date that he last appeared on WWE television.
Next week's #WWERAW is taking place in the exact same arena in which Randy Orton had his last WWE match (to date).
Interestingly, next week's RAW also takes place 18-months to-the-date of Orton's last WWE appearance. pic.twitter.com/l3bnShpFsk
