Jack Perry Makes NJPW In-Ring Debut Amid AEW Hiatus

Jack Perry has made his long return to in-ring action after being sidelined.

Status

Perry hadn’t been seen or heard from for months following the incident with CM Punk at AEW All In last August. The incident resulted in Perry being suspended and Punk released.

That all changed when he made his return to wrestling at the NJPW Battle in the Valley event. At the event, Perry attacked Shota Umino. Perry then ripped an AEW contract and put on an armband with “Scapegoat” on it.

NJPW debut

Perry made his in-ring debut against Shota Umino as part of the New Japan Cup Tournament on Wednesday morning. The AEW star picked up the victory to progress further in the tournament. Following the bout, Perry aligned with The House of Torture.

It’s still unclear when he will return to in-ring action for All Elite Wrestling.
